CineRoom is built on open-source software and free public data. Thank you to everyone who makes them.
Playback
- Video playback uses unmodified versions of mpv and FFmpeg, licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) version 2.1 or later, in the build packaged as MPVKit. Their source code is available at ffmpeg.org, mpv.io and github.com/mpvkit/MPVKit. Questions: hello@cineroom.org.
- The playback engine also contains OpenSSL (Apache License 2.0) and GnuTLS, Nettle and GMP (GNU Lesser General Public License) for secure network connections, and further libraries that come with MPVKit (libass, FreeType, HarfBuzz, FriBidi, dav1d, libplacebo, LittleCMS, LuaJIT and others), each under its own open-source licence.
